Before anyone wonders why some new guy like me is writing a review, I was asked to by one of the Admins.
Bought a Zen 20GB about 4 or 6 months ago (sorry for being vague, just can't completely remember). Just like to say that its a top product. Possibly cos I got mine for about $80 cheaper than I was supposed to, but anyway.
When it came to deciding which Mp3 player to buy. There were many questions I had to ask myself, like,
"Which one would hold a decent amount of songs?"
"Which ones might have the better sound quality?"
"How much research should I put into buying one?"
and, "Why the **** hasn't that prick served me yet?"
Anyway. I decided to go with the Zen 20GB after a bit of reasearch. Largely cos I found predominantly possitive reviews for it, especially in reguard to superiour sound quality (be it because they're made by a company that manufactures sound hardware or not, who knows?) and all the bad stuff i'd heard about Ipods. Anyway. Having bought a Zen, I definately recommend them. Ease of use, sound, the whole kit and kaboodle, its great.
Not only that, thanks to a $5 stereo cable from the local electronics shop, I now have about 1500 songs playing through my stereo. Which beats the shit out of my old computer speakers, I can tell you that much. It still works, where my brothers friends Ipod broke after about 3 weeks. Go figure.
Anyway, in summary, get a Zen, or get bent. lol
