What are everyones thoughts on the new iPhone? The touchscreen is pretty cool but I don't know about the price at $500 is pretty steep.

screen is nice, the multi-touch is cool... the specs and price is crap... to expensive.. and its just a phone+ipod ... whopedo

getting rave reviews at the moment.
The iPhone is expensive but they say once you've used one you'll not want any other phone.

Saw the iPhone in Stuff magazine while the missus was dragging me round Tesco's.

Looks very sexy indeed. Defintely be looking to upgrade to one of these when they come out.

Any idea of the launch date? Said late 2007 in the mag.

Apple were involved in some legal wranglings over the use of the iPhone name, however, that has all been sorted out now, so you should see them on the shelves soon enough!

I think apple or cingular will discount the iphone after its shipping.
