If you love your Crackberry, you'll be pleased to hear that you can book a service to transfer emails and attachments to a laptop monitor or Bluetooth printer.
ThinPrint now offers its Mobile Document Output System Content Beamer for BlackBerry (think Star Trek transporter but without the cool special effects) as a hosted solution. BlackBerry users can print their emails and attachments through Bluetooth or can transfer to a laptop monitor with Print to Screen function. The service costs 7.98 Euros a month. It's also possible to send documents to fax machines or to compose and send faxes direct from your Crackberry. There's a free 10 days trial for users to give it a whirl.
The functions are accessible within a few minutes. The requirements are simply a registration and a download of the client software. After setting up the software on the BlackBerry handset, the BlackBerry applications, news, adress book, calendar, tasks and notes will automatically show a new print menu option, which enables sending content to printers or laptop monitors. This solution is available in connection with the BlackBerry® Internet Service as well as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Individual BlackBerry users also have the chance to upgrade their office functions for their BlackBerry smartphone with Cortado, says Dirk Löwenberg, Business Director of Cortado Services. For firms with a larger number of BlackBerry users and a BlackBerry Enterprise Server we offer the Content Beamer for BlackBerry, Corporate Version. |

We knew they are coming and now they are official. I am talking about Nokia's new enterprise devices branded as the E-Series, the E65 and the E61i. Both the phones have been rumored for a long time and finally 3GSM took the covers off of these phones.

The E65 comes much as a surprise as its a slider business phone. Nokia might be targeting the business women with this model, but one thing is for sure - this phone ROCKS! This is the best looking device so far in the E-Series lineup.
This stylish slider comes equipped with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS support, Wi-Fi, 2MP camera and a TFT
display with a QVGA resolution capable of showing 16 million colors. The E65 was announced as a hard launch and so it is already available in
selected markets and is selling for around 400 Euros.
Now onto the E61i, which is announced as an upgrade for the successful E61 QWERTY phone. The E61i features a 2MP camera and the memory card support has been changed to microSD instead of miniSD on the E61.
The keypad design has been slightly revamped. The E61i retail package includes a 2GB microSD card (Oh, is it a business phone or a music phone!?) and is expected to be available in early Q2 2007 with a 400 Euro price tag. |

What A Beauty! The E90 is the latest in Nokia's communicators stable. This is the first phone in this segment since the 9500 which was launched years ago. The new Nokia E90 will run the SymbianOS
v9.1 with the 3rd generation S60 UI.
The
Nokia E90 features all the current connectivity technologies
such as quad-band GSM/EDGE/GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, miniUSB, Bluetooth
2.0 and Infrared port. The external 16 million colors display has a QVGA
resolution, while the internal wide-screenish display has a resolution of 800x352
pixels capable of displaying 16 mil colors as well.
The E90 measures somewhere between the 9300 and the 9500 communicators and weighs a hefty 210 grams. What comes as a surprise in this Enterprise phone is the slew of multimedia capabilities it possesses. The communicator features a 3.2MP camera (almost equivalent in quality to the N73's) and also has an FM radio, stereo speakers, and a microSD memory
card slot.
Another surprise is that both the internal and external displays run on the S60 UI unlike on the 9500 whose external screen is rendered useless by the featureless S40 interface. The phone is powered up by a 1500 mAh battery which is advertised to provide a standby time of 14 days (2 days with moderate use).
The Nokia E90 will be available in Q2 2007 and will cost somewhere around 750-800. |

Nokie 7373 What do we expect when Nokia joins hands with the renowned designer Giambattista Valli? Well, the 7373 Special Edition is born!! This phone makes the already fashionable L'Amour Collection even more desirable.
The Nokia 7373 Special Edition comes in Black Chrome and Powder Pink colors, both paired with signature Giambattista Valli phone accessories. The phone comes preloaded with exclusive Valli content including wallpapers, behind the stage videos, and more.
The Nokia
7373 Special Edition Powder Pink marries the faded luxury of grand
architecture of the L'Amour Collection with Valli's iconic pearl
necklace for a strap and a miniature pink skull. This set is Valli's
interpretation of the contradictory elements of an intensive romance.
The Nokia 7373 Special Edition Black Chrome fuses its elegant
glossy black appearance with an en vogue gros grain and onyx-like
crystal strap. A black skull adds the finishing touches to a sensually
appealing display of fashion.
The phone will be unveiled at the "Dress your Nokia in Giambattista Valli" party during Paris Fashion
Week. The Nokia 7373 Special Edition
will be available in select European markets next month for a retail price of around 280. |

Who would have expected - Motorola is still in love with Symbian! After their infamous A1000 phone, Motorola never worked on a Symbian phone but instead concentrated on their proprietary Linux platform.
But the 3GSM saw quite a surprise in the form of the Symbian UIQ based RIZR Z8. This phone is an update to the not yet released RIZR Z6 and packs in a lot of punch. The Z8 is basically a 15.3mm thick slider with an unusual form factor. When slided, the bottom
part slightly cracks in, allowing the handset to take the curve a little.
The Z8 features a 2.2" QVGA display capable of displaying 16M colors, a 2 megapixel camera with red eye reduction, stereo
Bluetooth, a microSD memory card slot, 3G with video calls and is HSDPA enabled.
The Z8 is the first UIQ phone without a touchscreen and a slightly reworked user interface. The phone looks great and appeals mostly to the youth. The ones shown at 3GSM are black with green lining and green keys, but expect to see more colors as they hit store shelves in Q2 2007. No word yet on pricing. |
