Motorola V3 Mobile Phone Review at MaXit

Motorola V3

The Motorola V3 may be getting on in years now, having been first released in 2004, but its popularity is far from dwindling. In fact, it caused such a stir that it spurned numerous copies and upgrades that have become equally successful in their own rights. As the daddy of the Motorola V3 line that now includes the V3i, V3iM, V3x and almost certainly several more to follow, the V3 remains one of the most popular cell phones that money can buy.

energizer-mobile-phone

The energizer bunny has been a busy bunny! The launch of energizer rapid mobile phone charging devices know as Energi To Go (how do they think of these things) will bring welcome relief to mobile phone users and gamers on the  move.

Two packs will be available featuring two and four batteries and will allow users to place a call from a flat mobile phone in just 30 seconds of charging. The Energi To Go can already power up to 80 percent of mobile phone brands with tip connectors for 100 mobile phone models from leading manufacturers.

The good news is the device will be compatible with iPods, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advanced consoles. Priced around £19, the Energi To Go should be available soon.

Nokia 3250 Review

nokia-3250

Nokia have produced some great mobile phones over the years pushing the design barriers and setting standards for other manufacturers to follow. Their latest tri-band affair adds a novel tilt and rotate design along with a whole bag of features including their lifeblog software.

"Nokia could never be accused of producing boring handsets. OK, the company does actually make standard candybar mobiles, but it also pushes the envelope of what we expect handsets to look like and how we expect them to behave. If you doubt this think about the N90, N91 and 7380."

If you like to twist and shout, you might be interested in this little handset.

Capture The Flag and Cell Phones

Recently, Denver had a Capture The Flag event spanning most of the 16th Street Mall. It was an amazingly good fun awesome time and all that stuff. But I write to complain, and to complain about one particular thing:

Cell phones.

Cell phones as organizational and strategic technology.

DVD Video Capture in a Mobile Phone? Awesome idea!

Nokia and Adobe have teamed up for a beautiful beautiful piece of mobile technology.

Combining the mobile brilliance of Nokia, and the software genius of Adobe, the newest Nokia mobile device, the N93, will be packaged with Adobe® Premiere® Elements 2.0. This set up will allow you to transfer captured video to your computer for a number of different functions including editing, formatting, and DVD burning. It is expected to be released in July 2006.

Quality isn't an issue either. This baby features 30 frames a second capture, 3.2 megapixels, and 3x optical zoom. Definately some impressive stats for a mobile phone, for sure. Adobe Photoshop® Album Starter Edition 3.0 is also included in the N93 package. This allows for on the fly editing of your video captures, allowing you to fix up everything while it is fresh in your mind.

"The rapid proliferation of mobile devices like the Nokia N93 have altered the way consumers capture life events. Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 addresses the need to be nimble and gives people fun options to share high-quality video output just as quickly as they shot it, preserving the spontaneity of the experience." - Deborah Whitman, vice president of product management for Digital Imaging at Adobe.

New Treo Launch Rumour Price

Treo 700 Mid May

Last we heard from our insider in the biz, Palm was going to be launching their PalmOS-powered Treo 700p sometime around or on Monday, May 15th.

Last we heard from our insider in the biz, Palm was going to be launching their PalmOS-powered Treo 700p sometime around or on Monday, May 15th. Now it would seem Gadgets on the Go's gotten word from a source they deem reliable that the 700p's got a price: £300 for a new 2 year contract, £379 with a 1 year contract.  (Oh, they also confirmed the same release time frame we had -- mid May ideally, early June at latest.) That sounds about right if you ask us, but there's only one way to find out: wait for the launch. Ok, well, two ways: we'll keep on inquiring, ourselves. Stay tuned, Treo nuts.
