DVD Video Capture in a Mobile Phone? Awesome idea!

Nokia and Adobe have teamed up for a beautiful beautiful piece of mobile technology.

Combining the mobile brilliance of Nokia, and the software genius of Adobe, the newest Nokia mobile device, the N93, will be packaged with Adobe® Premiere® Elements 2.0. This set up will allow you to transfer captured video to your computer for a number of different functions including editing, formatting, and DVD burning. It is expected to be released in July 2006.

Quality isn't an issue either. This baby features 30 frames a second capture, 3.2 megapixels, and 3x optical zoom. Definately some impressive stats for a mobile phone, for sure. Adobe Photoshop® Album Starter Edition 3.0 is also included in the N93 package. This allows for on the fly editing of your video captures, allowing you to fix up everything while it is fresh in your mind.

"The rapid proliferation of mobile devices like the Nokia N93 have altered the way consumers capture life events. Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 addresses the need to be nimble and gives people fun options to share high-quality video output just as quickly as they shot it, preserving the spontaneity of the experience." - Deborah Whitman, vice president of product management for Digital Imaging at Adobe.
