Nokia, yesterday, announced two upgrades and two new phones at the CES 2007, being held in Las Vegas.
The N93 received a much needed upgrade. Being called the N93i, this new phone is both thinner and shorter than the N93. The keypad on this new phone is inspired from the RAZR line and the mirror finish on the front is stunningly beautiful. The front houses a concealed 128x36 OLED display too. Nokia has partnered with Vox, a free blogging site, to provide users with the ability to blog directly from their N-Series phones. The phone will be releasing this quarter and sets you back 600 Euros. The other features remain pretty much the same as of its predecessor.
The N76 is a new addition to the mid-range N7x series. The N76 reminds you of the Moto RAZR at first glance and this phone definitely brings the missing style factor Nokia smartphones, measuring only 13.7mm thick. The specs are not at par with the N93i but they are not bad either. The phone features a 2MP camera, a QVGA display, 3.5mm audio jack for all those music loving folks out there. The phone will be out in Q1, 2007 and costs around 400 Euros.
