No, the "phone" at the end of the title isn't an accident. Samsung has announced the SCH-B600, a new mobile phone that features, among other things, a 10-megapixel camera. Now, you could probably argue that a small lens like that on a phone won't give you high-quality pictures even with that high of a resolution, but Samsung would probably brush you off and keep bragging.
In addition to the 10 megapixels, the SCH-B600's camera features include a 3x optical and 5x digital zoom and the ability to record 320x240 video at up to 30 frames per second. The phone also features Bluetooth capability, an MP3 player, business card reader, and the ability to output to a television.
The SCH-B600 will only be avilable to Korean consumers (whether that's forever or just for now is uncertain), at a price of about $950. Personally I'd rather get a cheap phone and a better 10-megapixel camera and still have some money to spare.
