Samsung is putting some serious effort in the slim phones segment. They are slimming down the slimmest phones in market today. They made the famous Ultra Edition 6.9 (aka, X820) even slimmer with the new Ultra Edition 5.9 (pictured).
The phone is a complete millimeter thinner than the X820. The V-shaped buttons make the keypad looks like the one found on Vertu phones. The camera has been upgraded to 3.2 megapixels, and nothing else changed apart from this: tri-band GSM, Bluetooth, audio/video player, TV output and 80 MB of memory with no card slot.
Samsung gave the Ultra Edition 12.9 slider a face lift too by shaving 2 millimeters off its thickness. But the features remain the same - 3.2 megapixel camera, quad-band GSM, QVGA 240x320 display, 80MB internal memory possibly with a microSD slot, Bluetooth, audio/video player and TV out. The phone is expected to arrive in 2007 Q2.
