The two next gen consoles couldn't keep their plastic parts off each other when they finally came face to face. Games Radar managed to get a hold of a PS3 and quickly put the big black beast on top of the 360 for some console 1on1 action.

Before you get all excited, the PS3 was just a mockup from Sony made in wood as an accurately proportioned replica. As you can see from the pictures, black is bigger when it comes to consoles too.

We can't help thinking that Sony modelled the PS3 on a George Foreman grill. The question is, will it cook aswell?


"The unit is certainly big, although not drastically bigger than an Xbox 360. Positioned vertically side-by-side, the PS3 stands about an inch taller than its rival, while laying the two down horizontally shows that - at its highest point - PS3's convex curve makes PS3 about an inch fatter. It's not the most beautiful looking beast, either. The underside is "stacked" with a couple of different sized layers and the overhanging midriff gives the unit a slightly awkward, uncomfortable look."

Let's hope the games rock or Sonys going to be the one bending over for some big M lovin.
