World´s best watercooler coming for Dual and Quadcore processors from aqua computers
Written by Maxit

In the current issue of the german magazine Hardwareluxx (06/2007) splashed around with13 water coolers in their labs and found a new champ for quadcore processors. The cooling performance of the cuplex XT di from Aqua Computers stood out as a premium solution for cooling the current lineup of CPUs on the market. At the temperature difference between CPU and water, the cuplex XT di led the field by 4.6K compared to the nearest runner-up.

Interestingly, Hardwareluxx found that other coolers partly offered a higher flow, however, they were not able to keep up with the cooling performance of the cuplex XT di.

Hardwareluxx states, " ... the cuplex XT di deserves our excellent hardware award. In measuring it showed intoxicating results, which is crowned by a very good machining and a very nice design. You get the best cooling solution for a non elitist price."

Tech specs after the jump.

High-end water cooler of the newest generation in nozzle cooler technology. The bottom is manufactured from highly purified copper and has an optimized pin structure for a better heat transfer. The ground is strengthened by inner bridges for the obtainment of an optimal contact on the CPU. Before the water hits the pin structure on the bottom it will be accelerated strongly over nozzles with a long lead in the intermediate part made of dull chromium plated brass. The water then flows in all directions and is led back to the outlet again by a backward channel in the middle section. The threads in the bluishly colored plexiglas are manufactured as G1/8". This cooler offers an outstanding cooling performance which surpasses the performance of cuplex as well as cuplx evo. The cooler is conceives for the work with pumps of the type aquastream and 1046. Stronger pumps are not needed and cause only a slight improvement in the cooling performance.
