Mouse Pads To Raise Surfer Awareness For Breast Cancer
breast-girl-mousepad

Like surfers need any help with breast awareness! Okay we made that bit up about breast cancer but it's a nice idea. Slash Gear reported the spread of naughty mouse pads to help combat wrist problems. The gel filled boobs are perfect for keeping your wrist free from sprains and injuries when using the mouse over longs periods. Problems from other activities involving your wrist are not covered so those easily stimulated my want to stick with the Simpsons version.

Not suprisingly, stocks of the mouse pads have all sold out.

Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro Digital SLP Gets Night Vision
Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro Digital SLP

Like shooting pictures in the dark. Think of the possibilites. Hmm. Fujifilm - isn't that a great name - launched the FinePix S3 Pro digital SLR camera recently with support for Infrared and ultraviolet light spectrums. With a 12.3 megapixel sensor, the camera is being promoted to law enforcement agencies who need to be able to gather photographic evidence in low light conditions. Law enforcement agencies have used ultraviolet and infrared photography for years to uncover evidence not easily seen by the human eye, such as gun shot residue and blood stains. Fujifilm's unique, double photodiode (6.17 million S-pixels and 6.17 million R-pixels) Super CCD SR II image sensor allows for a dynamic range 400% greater than cameras of single-pixel design. This wider dynamic range contributes to the capture of finer detail, a paramount factor in the gathering of key evidence.

"Fujifilm U.S.A. is thrilled to provide the brightest minds in law enforcement with technology useful in solving the country's most complex crimes."

No doubt a crossover market will appear for tech heads wishing to use the infrared technology to see through clothes. A new range of celebrity lead lined clothes is expected soon.

Altec A7 Retro Speakers
altec-speakers

Sounds from the past. Sure if you can afford the three grand price tag. Back in the 50's you would have been cutting edge with a pair of these monsters in your room. The A7 was Altec's top Voice from the Threatre Line series and in demand as a studio monitor and home reproducer. In 1973, Billboard magazine reported that more Altec loudspeakers were being used in recording studios than all other brands combined. I bet you didn't know that - we didn't either but copy and paste is a wonderful tool.

Well not content making tinny speakers for Dell computers, the boys at Altec have re-issued the A7 to bring back the glory days when speakers were big, expensive and very ugly. The handmade construction consists of a 13-layer baltic birch plywood cabinet and takes around 10 weeks to make.

Let's just hope they don't plan on making a 5.1 surround set of these things.

Apple iPod Gets Saucy With Hot Babe
ipod_advert-babe

Apple have a certain image to maintain. It's a good clean brand. Something your mum and dad would approve of. Well to hell with that. The big Apple has just got a whole lot saucier in their latest marketing campaign. You might have noticed at MaXit we have a passion for stuffing the latest bits of hardware into parts of the female anatomy. Somehow a pair of Corsair memory modules just look so much more appealing in between the breasts of a hot babe, don't you think?

Well it looks like the folks at Apple HQ agree, at least in the Czech Republic. The latest iPod advertisement literally reads, "iPod, the best partner for this year." Our translation - Stuff your iPod down a sexy babes bikini, it'll make you hard. More translations are welcome down in the MaXit forums. The winner gets to stick an iPod down the pants of UC Holly.

Steve Jobs, we salute you sir!
