Everyone's been selling draft-n wireless devices these days. Since the 802.11n standard is taking so long to become final, and companies are always looking for ways to pick up some extra cash, they started selling "draft-n" devices based on rough drafts of the final standard (hence the name). As with any other device that's released before the standard is set, you have absolutely no idea whether or not your devices just need a firmware upgrade or if you have to replace them when the final standard comes out. ASUS is the first company to offer you a guarantee of compatibility with the finalized 802.11n standard when you purchase one of their devices. Any draft-n device purchased by the end of this year is guaranteed to work with the 802.11n spec, whether through a firmware update or a complete upgrade of hardware.
