In yet another move to try and take Apple down a notch, retail store Best Buy, portable media player manufacturer SanDisk, and software developer Real Networks have teamed up to provide a new digital music service, which will give you one more alternative place to buy your digital music, in case all the other ones were getting old. Prices are pretty much standard. To buy a track will cost you 99 cents, and a one-month subscription will cost you $14.99. The monthly subscription lets you play all the music you want, as well as transfer the music to your PC or MP3 player (of course, you can only play this music as long as you're a subscriber). The combined effort is designed to promote SanDisk's Sansa e200R line of MP3 players, as well as Real's Rhapsody software. The Best Buy Digital Music Store is set to launch on October 15, and will feature an exclusive Diddy track as one of its promotions. Read the complete article here.
