Corsair recently unveiled it's new DOMINATOR range of memory modules, which will be available in two flavours - PC2-8500 CL5 and PC2-8888 CL4. The new modules feature a funky heatsink design called Dual-path Heat Xchange, DHX for easy reference. Initially, both will be available as 2 x 1 GB kits.
Although both variations feature DHX, the PC2-8500 CL5 modules feature a passively cooled solution wheras the PC2-8888 CL4 edition sports active cooling with 3 40 mm fans which should ensure phenominal overclockabilty.
Availability of the DOMINATOR series is expected in the first week of September, however they aren't cheap. DHX XMS2 DOMINATOR PC2-8500 CL5 modules are expected around $380-400 while the DHX XMS2 DOMINATOR PC2-8888 CL4 modules are expected around $600-650. For those of you who chose the former, the active cooler can be had for an additional $25
