Products like this one make it unnecessary to choose between photography and video. You may no longer need to buy both a videocam and a digital camera to get good films and pictures. The other option of having to spend tons of money on a single camera that's up to the task is also over, as this one only costs $265,95 at the time of publication.
The Z812 IS could be a perfect gift for Christmas, considering Kodak's price policy shown with previous models of the Z series, it will still go much lower.

This graph pretty much summarizes the "law" that's been behind the continuous growth the microchip industry has been enjoying for the last 40 years: every two years, you get to place twice as much transistors on the same integrated circuit. Actually, that would be an IC that costs the same to produce, which ends up being more or less the same.
At IDF, Gordon Moore himself reiterated that "we have another decade, a decade and a half, before we hit something that is fairly fundamental", namely the size of an atom. That wall will stop, from a personal computer perspective, not only the power race in the CPU field, but also the increase in RAM capacity. Magnetic storage capacity has problems of it's own, like paramagnetism. All in all, it looks like we are in for a ride that has a finish line. When we reach that point, something different will substitute current computers as we know them. Quantum compuetrs, neural nets? We'll get back to that before the 20's for sure.

WolfKing Warrior Gamepad Review @ Tweaknews.net
"For hardcore FPS players who don't mind un-learning a couple things about the traditional controls on a QWERTY keyboard, the Warrior will reward with a comfortable and ergonomically sound gaming experience. I can't say that it made me a better player, but let's be realistic – does anything other than practice and skill make someone a better FPS gamer?"

Intel X6800 Core 2 Extreme Dual Core Processor Review @ Tweaknews.net
"But where does this processor really fit in? Is it worth the ~US$1000 current pricetag or is there something that is faster from Intel that can be purchased for the same money? Well, for one thing, you won't need a new motherboard if you stick to the 1066Mhz FSB, but with the quad-core line dropping in price, will this processor be deemed the black sheep of Intel's higher end processor lineup?"

CoolIT Ram Fan Memory Cooler Review @ Tweaknews.net
"It's always nice to review a product that does exactly what it advertises, and the RAM Fan succeeds in that. It will be especially useful to overclockers who often push RAM voltages to high levels and would benefit from active cooling. With a price of only $20 US and installation that only takes a few minutes, I can't see any reason not to highly recommend this product."
