Microsoft finally released the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver after a really long delay. For those of you who don't remember what this is all about, this adapter lets you use your standard wireless 360 peripherals, such
as the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, Wireless Headset, and Xbox 360 Wireless
Racing Wheel with your
Windows PC.
Any upcoming titles branded "Games for Windows" will fully support the Xbox 360 accessories. Additionally, you can
easily map button configurations for any game that enables gamepad support.
When Microsoft launches "Games for Windows - Live" for Windows Vista later this year, users will be able to use the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset in
conjunction with the Wireless Receiver to talk with gamers, chat with
friends via MSN Messenger and other applications which can take voice
input.
The receiver can handle up to four wireless controllers and
four wireless headsets simultaneously; it has a range of about 30 feet
and connects to a PC via a USB cable. The Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver costs US$20 and Microsoft is offering a combo pack which includes both the wireless controller and the receiver and controller for $60. |

Go Zalman Beastie
Zalman CNPS9700 NT CPU Cooler
“is one incredible product that is sure to please. If you don't want to
install a water cooling system because of the potential risks, then this is a
great alternative. I was impressed that this cooler could keep a Core 2 Duo
E6400 CPU overclocked to 3.2GHz using 1.55 voltage cool. This is something
that's even a challenge for some water cooling kits to accomplish…”

ThinkComputers.org
"Media
center PCs are becoming more and more common today and with the availability of
services like iTunes and Netflicks the need for a PC (or PC-like device) in the
living room is becoming more and more necessary. While there are many stand
alone devices that can stream media from the PC you generally loose the ability
to browse the web or play video games from your couch. Today we will be looking
at the NZXT Duet case, which was designed to be used in the living room for all
your media center PC needs.” REVIEW URL: http://www.thinkcomputers.org

The leading memory manufacturer, OCZ Technologies, are making its way into the peripherals market with the introduction of their first gaming mouse - the Equalizer, a 2500 dpi laser mouse.
The OCZ Equalizer offers gamers the ability to choose from six DPI sensitivity levels (400-2500) allowing them to seamlessly transition between each setting in the
midst of a battle with a conveniently placed button. The scroll wheel on the Equalizer glows in different colors for each DPI
setting to provide instant visual confirmation of the chosen
sensitivity level.
The mouse also features the innovative OCZ “Triple Threat” button.
which allows gamers to fire three times with just one click making it easier than
ever to hit the target (really??). The same Triple Threat
button turns double-click operations, such as opening files and
applications, into just one-touch commands (this is a little helpful I guess!).
The EqualizerÙs ergonomic (only right-handed though) design features a comfortable, no-slip grip
and the always useful back and forward buttons. The OCZ Equalizer will
be available in two configurations, Desktop and Mobile model, depending
on the userÙs preference for portability and size.
As an added bonus,
each mouse includes OCZ Equalware software which provides a complete
keyboard simulation interface for total customization of your favorite
gaming commands.
The mouse uses the Agilent 6010 chip, the same chip used in the Razer Copperhead mouse. Other features include Convenient back and forward buttons and a gold plated USB connector which are pretty much a standard on today's gaming mouses mice. No word yet on pricing and availability.

Corsair DOMINATOR Twin2X2048-9136C5D DDR2-1142 Performance Memory
"Corsair's DOMINATOR Twin2X2048-9136C5D memory takes a very bold step in the right direction by ditching the old stick on RAM heatspreaders and going with a fresh approach. Corsair redesigned the memory thermal solution by redesigning the memory module itself. We'll get to what Corsair has done in a bit, first here are some specs on the high performance Dominator Twin2X2048-9136C5D memory that is really the star of the show. Corsair's DOMINATOR Twin2X2048-9136C5D part is a 2GB dual channel memory kit, each module bing 1024MB in size. The Twin2X2048-9136C5D is rated to run at speeds up to DDR2-1142 MHz with 5-5-5-15 memory timings - that's very quick. The memory supports nVidia's Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP) and really designed with nVIDIA nForce 680i based motherboards in particular."

Gainward Bliss 8800GTS 640MB Golden Sample – Overclocked!
"nVidia’s GeForce 8800GTS just got a little bit better thanks to Gainward with their Golden Sample graphics card. We understand that overclocking isn’t a hard task but that’s us. Overclocking isn’t for everybody and if it was companies like Gainward and BFG wouldn’t have much joy selling pre-overclocked cards. It’s nice to know that for a few extra dollars you can open the box, place it in your system, and be slightly faster than your mate down the road with a standard GeForce 8800GTS.
The biggest problem that we have really has nothing to do with the card. The package really should have had a little something extra and video cables are really a pretty standard item these days, not choosing to include them was like XFX not choosing to include the PCI Express power adapter in their 8800GTS. While a lot of people might have them, there is still going to be a portion of people who don’t. They should always be included."

What is Windows Vista? (part 1)
"According to Microsoft, Windows Vista contains hundreds of new features; some of the most significant include an updated graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and completely redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista also aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network using peer-to-peer technology, making it easier to share files and digital media between computers and devices. For developers, Vista introduces version 3.0 of the .NET Framework, which aims to make it significantly easier for developers to write high-quality applications than with the traditional Windows API."

What is Windows Vista? (Part 2)
"Criticisms of Windows Vista include protracted development time, more restrictive licensing terms, the inclusion of a number of technologies aimed at restricting the copying of protected digital media, and the usability of the new User Account Control security technology. Reviewers have also noted similarities between Vista's Aero interface and that of Apple's Mac OS X operating system, particularly around the use of transition effects. Moreover, some concerns have been raised about many PCs meeting "Vista Premium Ready" hardware requirements and Vista's pricing."

Zelda: Twilight Princess Walkthrough Part 1 (Chapters 1-6)
"The adventure begins here. Link will be instructed to get his horse Epona and head to the ranch. As soon as you have control, run to the path behind Link's house. Enter the next area and run over to the pool to meet Ilia. Speak with her and she'll want you to get some grass to whistle and call Epona. A tuft of grass is directly behind you, so go up and press A to grab it, then A again to whistle for Epona. Hop on Epona's back and take yourselves all the way south through the village and finally up to the Ranch."
