Intel X6800 Core 2 Extreme Dual Core Processor Review @ Tweaknews.net
"But where does this processor really fit in? Is it worth the ~US$1000 current pricetag or is there something that is faster from Intel that can be purchased for the same money? Well, for one thing, you won't need a new motherboard if you stick to the 1066Mhz FSB, but with the quad-core line dropping in price, will this processor be deemed the black sheep of Intel's higher end processor lineup?"

Corsair Flash Padlock Pen Drive
"The folks at Corsair recently introduced a new product into their popular range of USB flash drive series, this simply called the Flash Padlock.
Corsair are very well known for their Flash GS series of pen drives with insane read and write speeds – among the best in the industry in fact. However, is speed the be all and end all? For some, the answer would be an easy “YES!” but for others looking for features, Corsair looks to have come close to hitting the nail on its head."

CoolIT Freezone CPU Cooler Review
"Now, CoolIT has entered the fray with a new type of water-cooling unit with their Freezone CPU Cooler. Unlike traditional systems, the Freezone does not use a radiator, but uses a proprietary "chiller", which uses multiple TECs (peltier plates) to cool the liquid coolant, essentially refrigerating the liquid without a compressor (as expensive phase-change coolers use). This system provides greater thermal efficiency and increased reliability, and is easier to install than full-sized water-cooling kits."

Steganos Safe 2008 Reviewed @ BIOS
“When you encrypt a file or folder, you are converting it to a format that canÙt be read by other people. A file encryption key is added to files or folders that you choose to encrypt. This key is needed to read the file. Steganos Safe 2008 (£17.99) makes the encryption and decryption process easy - when you are logged on to your computer, youÙll be able to read them. Anyone who tries to use your computer without your logon will not be able to read them, even if the storage medium it is stored on is lost or stolen. Steganos Safe 2008 has been optimised for use on Microsoft Vista and introduces encryption for Outlook Express and Windows Mail, in addition to protecting the standard edition of Outlook and any user-selected data files. You can create any number of encrypted safes to store sensitive data, each one with a capacity of up to 256GB - ideal for large volumes of data such as film archives, digital photo collections, spreadsheets, letters and tax documents. Thankfully, existing data safes from the earlier versions of Steganos Safe can be imported to this latest version. This latest release further allows you to configure the password entry field for a safe to open automatically when your computer is started.”

Microcool T441/T412 Thermal Pads and Chip Protectors Review
"Upgrading your cooling is not always the success you hoped for: thermal pads with bad adhesive, weird mounting mechanisms, or even worse a crushed processor core! All those things might sound as familiar for you as it is for me, luckily Microcool has the answer, I take a look at their Thermattach T411 & T412 thermal pads and core protective rubbers."

Gigabyte Triton 180 PC Case Review @ ThinkComputers.org
"Gigabyte has been around since the mid-1980s, which makes them one of the founders of the modern custom PC industry. Starting with motherboards, Gigabyte now also makes video cards, cases, optical drives, storage solutions, most periphials, power supplies, air cooling, liquid cooling, notebooks and notebook cooling, and now home media PCs. Gigabyte is well known for their high quality products. They generally market their products to the enthusiast willing to pay a little more for that high quality, but desiring products a little less extreme, a little more on the conservative side. So, my expectations for the Triton 180 are that it will be a well made, high quality case, with attention paid to every detail, but but somewhat conservative. Let's see if it lives up to that.”

"This next subsection is something I really like. ItÙs called “File Shredder”. When you delete files on your computer, you merely delete the visible reference to it. To insure that the file is completely off of your machine, you can use this “File Shredder” option and get rid of the files. The last subsection under this tab is the “Uninstall Manager” which is much like the Windows “Add and Remove Programs” in the Control Panel."
