After removing the USB and sound ports from the top of the case, I masked up the case top ready for cutting out the hole. The masking tape makes it easy to mark out the exact size and prevents any scratches once the cutting starts.
 
Masking The Case
 
I used a Thermochill 120 shroud as a template for the cut lines, making sure it was far enough forward to allow the radiator to fit comfortably underneath and simply traced around the edges.

With everything marked out and masked up, it was time to get Jiggy with it. Before letting rip with the jigsaw and laying waste to £100's worth of aluminium, it's worth noting a few little tips and tricks.
  1. Orbital/variable speed jigsaws are preferred, mainly because the orbital motion tends not to snag as much. Careful use of the trigger to control the speed, higher or lowering, can stop the snagging when it starts to appear. 
  2. Use small toothed blades designed for meta
