The Bottom Line 

If you are out there looking for a PSU that is reliable and capable of powering your quad-core, multi-GPU rig, then the ProXStream 1000W PSU is the mutts nuts. The real bonus is the ultra compact size making it an ideal solution for small and medium size cases. In fact, if you need 1KW of power this is the only solution to consider. The build quality is impressive with high end parts throughout and backed up by a three year warranty from OCZ. The only niggle we had concerned the noise levels from the 80mm fan. If you have sensitive ear drums you might want to check it out in action first to see if you can live with it. Apart from that, the ProXStream is an innovative and kick ass product in the 1KW power supply market. We really can't wait to see what OCZ has up it's sleeve next!
